‌• The advantage of the horizontal mill is not only its production quality but also its volume, which in certain cases exceeds three times the vertical chamber-grinding mill with a similar grinding chamber capacity. 
‌• Horizontal Mill grinding vessel is completely sealed, which prevents air entrapment and obviates evaporation losses of volatile materials. It can handle very high-viscosity products (up to 15000 centipoises) 
‌• Two different peripheral speeds of grinding discs give two different operating conditions. This facility combined with a choice of quality and size of grinding media, allows the mill to be used for the characteristics of the product to be ground. 
‌• The horizontal position of the grinding vessel ensures start-up problems, whatever may be the mill base viscosity or the grinding media density. The grinding media can be charged up to 85% of the shell volume.
